Chucks and Rolls

AIT uses only USA made stainless steel to manufacture replacement seaming chucks and rolls to O.E.M. standards and/or CMI specifications. Our quality control processes ensure accuracy within +/-.0005 of an inch, and all groove profiles are ground on our StuderTM CNC grinder.

AIT offers a complete range of extended-wear coating choices, including Titanium Nitride, Titanium Carbide, Tungsten Carbide (FLAME PLATING), and Diamond ARM, to make your parts last longer and significantly improve your seam results.

Mac 1TM (Stoody) Chucks/Rolls

AIT also manufactures seaming chucks and rolls from Mac 1TM (STOODY), a SPIN CAST material that is higher in cobalt and a vastly improved substrate metal for tooling. When coated with titanium carbide and paired with ceramic bearings, customers have produced over 100 million cases of product before replacement.

Sealed Twin Ball Bearing "P" Rolls

A.I.T. offers the only grease-reduced, sealed twin ball bearing, double profile "P" roll available with variable float. This roll will greatly reduce the time required to clean excessive grease from your cans after maintenance.

Adjustable Pin Assembly
For "L" & "H" Rolls

AIT manufactures an adjustable locking pin and setscrew assembly for a quick groove placement (setup) to the seaming chuck, which greatly reduces-and even eliminates-the time needed for the set-up shimming process.
